O-Tū-Kapua (What Clouds See)

O-Tū-Kapua (‘what clouds see’), a glimpse of the secret world of a forest, was created by the TEMP-air project – a collaboration of F4, NIWA, UNITEC, AUT, IMERSIA and made possible through a grant from MBIE Curious Minds. The experience, which is set in the Waitakere Ranges in Auckland, New Zealand, introduces atmospheric science to children, taking advantage of current innovative digital technologies to enable participation, engagement and understanding of the ecosystem in which we live, using imagery, bilingual storytelling (te Reo Māori, English), music and other creative activities.

I worked as part of the app development team contributing to the conceptualisation, user interface design, and user experience aspects of the augmented reality components of the app.
