Explora - Chile Es Mar App

Have you ever wondered what a protected area of the sea looks like?

The Explora - Chile es Mar application was created by the Chile es Mar educational project from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, in collaboration with AUT Applab. Its objective is to educate children on the effects that humans have on the marine ecosystems of central Chile through the use of mixed reality technologies (immersive 360 videos and augmented reality) and interactive gamified exercises.

I worked as lead graphic, UX/UI designer and illustrator on the project. Developing an identity, wireframe, icons and all graphic assets for the application. This work was done in collaboration with a team of marine scientists and educators in Chile, as well as a programming team based at the Applab at AUT.
